Long before us, our forefathers already knew the quiet pleasure of tobacco – unrefined, unblended, but real. By the 1960s, our parents’ generation discovered something finer: handmade Cuban cigars, then the New World blends the rest of the world had already fallen for. Nigeria was ready. It just lacked a home.
One decision built two rooms.
What began as devotion became Habano del Café – Lagos’ first intentionally curated cigar lounge, built inside the world-class UnArena. Demand asked for more, so we built The Conversation Room: members-only, invitation-driven, and reserved for a smaller circle. Both now welcome guests of 1 Arena Loft.
The lounges built the culture. This is how we share it.
As Lagos’ cigar culture grew, the lounges weren’t enough. Lovers of the leaf needed somewhere to walk in and take the ritual home – an upscale humidor stocked with rare and premium cigars at every price point. That idea became Luxury Villas Group Cigars.
